When you're expecting, there is so much to do. We
hope to help you by providing a simple list of "must haves" for everyone's
hospital bags. Be sure and pack them early! You never know when the little one
will make their appearance!
Also, get that car seat ready! You must have your car seat properly installed
before you can take your baby home!

-
Insurance Card or Information
-
Birth Plan
-
Bathrobe and Slippers (The gowns the hospital provides just do not do the
trick! You certainly want something to cover your bottom while walking down the
halls! Be sure not to take your nicest robe and slippers. They may get
stained.)
-
Socks (You'll need something to keep your feet warm!)
-
Pillows
-
Tennis Ball or other massaging tool
-
Music (This will help create the environment you want.)
-
Lip Balm (Your lips may become very chapped.)
-
Toiletries (Toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, scrunchies, shampoo, deodorant,
scented lotion, makeup if desired)
-
Hard Candy (Sugarless preferably - they will not make you as thirsty)
-
Focal Object (If this is something you would like to use during labor)
-
Bras (Bring at least two of the size you are wearing now. You may need nursing
pads too.)
-
Sanitary Napkins (The hospital may provide these, but you may prefer your own.)
-
Nightgown (Once again, you don't want to wear anything too nice, unless it is
okay to get stains on it.)
-
Loose Clothes (Unfortunately, you won't leave the hospital at your
pre-pregnancy weight. Clothes that fit you at about your six month of pregnancy
should do just fine.)
|
|

too.)

-
Toiletries (Toothpaste, toothbrush, hairbrush, deodorant, etc.)
-

always willing to provide this to him.)
-

your baby's feet prints in it! You could also spend some time filling it out
while at the hospital.)

Bottle of Champagne or Sparkling Cider for celebrating
-
